Follow the path through the Teifi Marshes Reserve and you'll find fforest farm's Nature Spa nestled in the woodland. Ten minutes by car or a leisurely 40-minute stroll through one of West Wales's most beautiful nature reserves.​

Warm up in the cedar barrel sauna, take the cold plunge, and soak in the wood-fired hot tub while nature surrounds you. When you're ready, the relaxation cabin is the perfect spot to sit, breathe and take in the views.

Stay the weekend at Albion Aberteifi, explore the West Wales coast, and head home feeling properly restored ​

A friendly, warm and inclusive festival, the Eisteddfod is an incredible celebration of Welsh language and culture featuring all kinds of concerts and gigs, literature, theatre, science and more! This year, it’s going to be bigger and better than ever as we celebrate 850 years since the very first Eisteddfod which was held in Cardigan.

Our first night sold out in just two days, so we're adding more dates over the Summer holidays.

From 10th–24th August, we'll be serving Pizzatipi on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Expect wood-fired pizzas with handmade bases, our own sauces, and toppings sourced from brilliant local producers.

Grab a drink from Y Bwthyn pub, and enjoy a relaxed summer evening.

Spaces are limited, so we recommend booking in advance to guarantee your spot.  You’ll order and pay on the night.

Craft Festival Cardigan / Gŵyl Crefftau Aberteifi

The third Craft Festival Wales will be held at Cardigan Castle from September 11th to 13th, 2026

Craft Festival Wales is a vibrant celebration of making, supported by Visit Wales and leading arts organisations from Wales and beyond. The festival will host 100 exceptional makers, alongside The Capital of Craft LIVE, demonstrations, exhibitions, workshops, children’s activities, live music, theatre, storytelling and town-wide satellite events.⁠

Additionally, a Town Craft Trail will run for a month, showcasing emerging Welsh makers at various venues across Cardigan. Including an installation outside The Albion Aberteifi.

Mountain & Brat at fforest farm

A weekend of eating and drinking, indulging and relaxing hosted by fforest with special guest Tomos Parry and his Brat & Mountain team. Join us as they leave London for the weekend for two exclusive services on the farm.

Born in Anglesey, Tomos Parry’s Welsh heritage deeply informs his approach to food. Growing up exploring the mountains of North Wales and working in seafood restaurants along the coast, his connection to the land and sea runs deep.

Parry honed his craft in local restaurants in Wales before moving to London and refining his passion for hyper-local, seasonal cooking over fire.

For dinner-only bookings, the Mountain dinner will be served on Friday 18th September. For guests staying at fforest farm for the weekend, dinner will be on Saturday evening.

We're very pleased to welcome Bryn Williams back to fforest farm this autumn.

Bryn grew up in Denbigh and has spent his career cooking with a deep respect for Welsh land and produce. From his early years in some of the UK's finest kitchens, including Le Gavroche.

He now has his own restaurants, most notably at Porth Eirias on the North Wales coast, awarded the prestigious Michelin Bib Gourmand.

Barley Saturday / Sadwrn Barlys

Since the 19th Century Barley Saturday has been held on the last Saturday in April – it is an unique event in Cardigan. Historically Barley Saturday saw farmers from the surrounding area come to town to hire workers and to inspect stallions that are put out to stud.

These days the horses are the centre of attention. After the judging of various horse competitions, the crowds gather to watch the horses do their parade around town. Followed by a parade of vintage cars, motorbikes, tractors, carriages, milk floats and gypsy wagons.

It really is a great day out and the town is heaving with people and a great atmosphere!

Join us at fforest farm for a 6-course Spring Feast at fforest, set in the gentle glow of candlelight inside our cedar barn at fforest farm.

We’ll gather old friends and new around long tables to enjoy the first produce of the season. Fresh, foraged, cured and cooked over fire. Sharing plates of fish, local meats and spring vegetables, all created in collaboration with the local growers and makers we work with throughout the year.

Mari Lwyd is out & about on the streets of Aberteifi for an evening of song with Y Fari Lwyd, Gwilym Bowen Rhys and friends.

Traveling its way to numerous watering holes in Cardigan for an evening of impromptu contributions. Join in and follow this wonderful and one of the most well-known Welsh customs, the Mari Lwyd, meaning ‘Grey Mare’, a horse-figure carried from door to door by wassail-singing groups during the winter festive season.

Timings are approximate but we’re aiming for around 8pm at The Castle depending on the speed of the horse! Come for mulled wine and snacks! 🐴🦄🍺
